Talk about an elephant in the room

Talk about an elephant in the room. Barack Obama is hands down the most disrespected president in American history. Sure some of his policies are a little shady and he didn’t live up to more than half of his campaign promises, but in the world of politics who really ever does? The thing that gets me about the disrespect is that most of the people that disresect him  claim that race isn’t a factor.

I say yeah right . Matters of race are like substance abuse problems. One must admit the problem exists before it can get resolved.  Americans get outraged when people of color speak out on behalf of Barack. Then they question their motives on why they voted for him in the first place. I don’t know a whole lot about the world of politics but can somebody please answer the following questions for me.

Is it a common political practice to yell at the president of the United States in public? (Jan Brewer)
How many days should a president be referred to as president elect after being sworn into the White House?

Is it acceptable behavior to call the president of The United States a Liar in a press conference? (Joe Wilson)
Has any president in in the American history of politics ever had to be subjected to a progress report reflecting the number of campaign promises they kept after being elected?
Has any other president of the United States received produce?
 (watermelon email?)

I don’t know about the rest of all you guys out there in blog land but these things seem a little rhymes with spacial to me.
If I’m jumping the gun on this please feel free to enlighten me.

This is Hallzies blog spot. If I’m not blogging about it....

Top 10 rapper count down

Did you watch Bet’s top tenrappers of the twenty  first century countdown?

If you didn’t you didn’t miss too much. It was just a panel of bias judges.
They have either with, worked alongside, or been employed by the entire artist that made the countdown.
It was too funny. Some of that artist clearly did not need to be on that countdown.

The name of the countdown implies on how serious the countdown should be. The judges were clearly treating it like a joke.
They were not trying to do research of any kind to make their decisions.

The only thing more amusing about the countdown it’s self was the emcee’s and artists that didn’t make the ridiculously laughable list. Getting all bent out of shape about a list that has no real merit.

It was basically some randomly thrown together bull s#h*t . There are a lot of rappers really upset behind not making the list.  So they didn’t make the list. Boo Freakn whooo. So what!! I look at it like this.

If you’re an emcee or artist and you’ve been constantly making albums, touring, doing mixtapes, acting, getting endorsement deals, or just getting money in the industry for five years or longer you straight. Stop trippn.

I know you probably take your craft seriously (and you should) However; this countdown was clearly not official.

Don’t get yourself all worked up over nothing. The last thing hip hop needs is another war. If History has taught us anything it’s how easily the media takes things out of context. Like for example another artist bruiting about not making the list and inadvertently putting down a rapper that did make the list on camera.

If you’re rapping right now you should be thankful. The true pioneers blazed a trail for you. There are so many new ways for an emcee to get money in the rap game it’s not even funny. These opportunities were not available to rappers in the early eighties, nineties, and even the early years of 2k. You should be thankful you're able to make money off your gift and be in the position to help other people. You don’t need some top ten list to validate your significance as an emcee or artist.

cool fan

America has gotten out of hand with celebrity gossip. It’s like everybody has gone completely mental over celebrities. People want to know who they are dating, where they hang out, who they hang out with and if they have a problem with other celebrities. Every time you turn on the news or surf the web there it is plain as day, celebrity gossip.
It’s like people don’t have anything else better to do with themselves other than worrying about famous people .Celebrities  are the same as you and me just in a different social class and tax bracket. They require all the basic needs everybody else does. So what is the big deal about knowing them on a personal level? Do you think you’re twenty or thirty bucks you spent on their film or recording dics entitles to you to such information?
If you think having that knowledge is useful you need to turn off that TV and get a life. There’s nothing wrong with being a fan. If you’re going to be a fan, be a cool fan. Don’t be over compulsive; don’t become overly obsessed with them. Don’t become a celebrity stalker. Here’s some nice normal healthy fan activates.
1.       Being a member of a fan club
2.       Going to see your favorite preform
3.       Blogging about them
4.       Journal entries
5.       Asking them politely for an autograph when you see them.
6.       Accepting no for an answer.
7.       Not sack riding, brown nosing, pole jocking , sweating , or begging them for their time.
Non Healthy fan activities
1.Blocking their path with your body
2.Exposing yourself to them
3.Groping them
4.Telling lies on them
5.Blasting them on your twitter page
6.Demanding they give you an autograph
7.Not accepting no for an answer
8.Sack riding, brown nosing, pole jocking, sweating them and begging them for their time.
Hope this has been helpful

Ok how many times have you heard of the Nicki Minaj Lil' Kim thing?

By now aren't you like so fucken what? I know I am. With all the important things going on in the world today it never ceases to amaze me that people find the time to inquire and weigh in on why lil Kim does not like Nicki Minaj(I can't belive I'm blogging about it either)

Lil Kim's argument is that she does not like Nicki Minaj because Nicki has not properly paid homage to her and stole her swag. Nicki says she has humbled herself for Lil Kim on several occasions and has still been blasted at every turn by Lil Kim.

The beef began with Nicki using Lil Kim's infamous camel toe pose on a sucker free mixtape album cover. Ever since then there has been some unpleasantness between the two.

They've been verbally attacking each other on twitter and launching diss records refercing the other back and forth for a little over a year now.

Quite frankly I'm sick of hearing about it. I think both of them should just be grown women and just refuse to feed inot the BS anymore. Lil Kim should refuse to answer any questions pertaining to Nicki Minaj and the and the same thing should go for Nicki too. That's the only way this things going to die down.

I personally feel like if Lil Kim does not like Nicki that's her business and she shouldn't have to justifiy why she does not like her to people. Cause the sad thing about it is it's just human nature to hate.

Everybody is a hater in their own right but nobody ever admits it. Everybody and I mean everybody has somebody that they don't like and has to interact with on a daily basis that they absolutley cannot stand for anything in the world. This person may not have ever done or said anything out of the way to you, but you for some odd reason you dislke them. You probally look at them and want to snuff em in the jaw or something even worse if you thought you could get away with it.

Keep it real, If someone was to point blank ask you why you don't like this person you probally couldn't answer their quistion. So why should Kim have to answer that question?

I personally feel like if Lil Kim does not like Nicki that's her business and people shouldn't demand an explanation on why she does not like her.
Everybody has a person that irritates them in their life and I think Nicki is unfortunately Kim's iritating somebody. Even though Nicki is so bubly, personable, and polite in all her interviews I know she has somebody she can't stand too. Maybe now a days it's Kim.( hell it might be me if she ever stumbled across this blog)

The point I'm trying to make is that they should give it a rest now and the fans should just accept the fact that they don't like each other. I mean if they were to do an album with the kind of chemistry they have how well do you think it'll sell? I mean really? This beef is a dead horse that doesn't need to get beaten anymore.

This topic really isn't all that relevant anymore but worthy by the rules of my blog.

oh really

I am sick and tired of the word really.

I don’t hate the word I just hate the way people use it.

Example: I was out on Halloween and I got a little hungry so I go to this sandwich place.
I placed my order and the girl that took my order asked me if I wanted to eat it there or could she box it up to go. I told her for here. The girl replied really?

That irritated me so much that I’m blogging about it.
The way people say really is really starting to become a nuisance. Ahhh!!!
It‘s so irritating the way people say that.

They say it like they didn’t hear the question that you just asked.

Really? Naw not really. Yes really mother fu**er!!

I could have sworn I was speaking English when I said it.

People that say it all sarcastic like that. They need to really be punched in the face.

There is no reason to be that asinine.

My final take on the way people use this word is yuck.

Stop using it as a response to a question because it's very annoying.

People should only say really if they are unsure about something, or want to express their interest in something and nothing more.

Another one that gets me is seriously. But that’s another blog topic for another time.

Remember: If I’m not blogging about it it’s not blog worthy.

If the bird don't fit you must twit

What up? What's good?
It's your boy Mr.Hallzie or if you following me on twitter istaygood.

Well since I bought it up. I'm gonna just dive right on into.

I'm speaking of Twitter.com people.

I first heard about twitter in one of those notorius Superbowl ads. I did'nt really pay much attention to the ad at the time becuase I just wasn't a media buff back then. I could care less about some damn twitter.

Well my intrest have changed alot since I saw the ad. I'm studying culinary arts right now and if you've ever payed attention to anything I post on here you also know I enjoy writting poetry and commentaries. I hope to become a chef one day and either have one or an entire book of my poetry published.

I've started posting them on twitter because twitter is very popular among celbs.

I figure if I keep posting them on their somebody's bound ot notice me. Don't get me wrong i'm not buying the farm on that notion. I've also been taking other steps to try to get the ball rolling on the writting thing and to segway into the point i'm trying to make about this media monster.

My resons for having a twitter account are noble. A whole lot of people use it as a networing tool to advertise businesses and as a networking tool.

Other people tweet for the wrong reasons. Celbs can tweet they damn life away if they want to.

They've made their claim to fame and have their future secure. Tweeting for them will just increase their revenue's by networking and branching out to do projects and other forms of busniess with other celebs.

Average joe's tend to tweet in hopes that a celeb will respond to one of their tweets. For those that have never twitted before i'll try to explain. You see celebs will post a comment or tweet as they call it and anyone following the celeb will have the option to respond to what the comment that was just posted by the celeb.

The problem with that is that the avearage joe will say anything to get the celebs attention. I'ts usally something ignorant, mean, or negative about the celeb. They do this to try to get them to say something back so they will themselves feel like a celeb.

Yeah I know it sounds crazy but mothe%#&@$!as is crazy nowadays.

Another bad thing about tauting celebs on their is that it might not actually even be them. Some people actaually take the time to use a celebs likeness on twitter and pretend to be the celeb. For what? You got me on that one. that's that wierdo sh*t.

For the most part twitter is cool and I'm have'n fun so far. nobody that's folloing me has given me any feedback but at least thy are following me though. I'm going to stay persistant and keep tweeting poems and minding my own B.I

Having said that. I still got love for black planet even though none of my blogs made the most popular section(that's cool wtfe) All i ask ya'll to do is if you got twitter follow me and on here read my blog entries or just sign my guestbook. Ayone foloowing me on blogger please do the same here. give me some feedback or log in and follow everything I post.
